About the Author
Chance C. Howard has been a professional writer since 2011, independently publishing his first novel, Going Home, at the age of 19. Howard has continued to write while using his passion for reading to teach middle school language arts and reading classes.
Born in Columbus, GA., Howard has always had a love for reading and writing. As a young kid, Chrysanthemum was the book that tapped into his love for reading. As an elementary and middle school student, books like Bud, Not Buddy, The Watsons Go to Birmingham, The House on Mango Street, and many other coming-of-age stories continued to cultivate his love for reading and writing.
Today, Howard's writing is inspired by personal stories and brief moments in time. Howard strives to tell stories that inspire hope, not only for his students but also for other young adults and adults as well. When he's not saving the world by molding tomorrow's leaders or working on his next novel, he's probably spending time with his wife and son, watching The Office or YouTube videos about Godzilla.
